MOT testing
We test on site at New Cut Lane. Class 4 covers cars and most vans; Class 7 covers the heavier vans.
Class 4Cars and vans
Cars, and goods vehicles up to 3,000kg.
Class 7Larger vans
Goods vehicles over 3,000kg and up to 3,500kg.
Hybrid & EV
We cover petrol, diesel, EV and hybrid. Hybrid and electric servicing, complex hybrid and electric repairs, and fault diagnostics on our Bosch KTS590.
EV- Tesla rear brakes using our Bosch KTS590 and Secure Gateway access - done!
Winding back the EPB calipers and putting into service mode!
Brakes, clutches, steering and suspension, all done in our own workshop.

Mark Allen has run Woolston Motors since 1997. He's the owner and an MOT tester. After years on Manchester Road, we've moved into new premises on New Cut Lane, ready to keep you moving.

Consistently great service, really fair prices, and such a friendly, honest approach every time. Special thanks to Mark, the owner, who’s always helpful and straightforward.
